REN3W’s first event was everything I hoped it would be, and more.
Hosted by myself and Rhona, a 50-year-old personal trainer and bodybuilder, the session took place at Everyone Active Fleet on Saturday 26th April, 12:00–13:00. Seeing it fully booked was such a special moment and a clear reminder of how many women are looking for a space like this.
We kept the dress code simple and fun – 'wear pink' – which instantly brought a sense of energy and unity to the room. From the moment everyone arrived, there was such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, exactly what REN3W is all about.

Each attendee received a goodie bag, including electrolytes, a resistance band, a protein bar, a scrunchie, REN3W stickers, and a leaflet about the event, small touches to support both the session and recovery but also to make the experience feel a bit more personal.

The session itself focused on a full-body workout using weights, designed to be accessible and beginner-friendly, particularly for women aged around 30–60. The aim wasn’t intensity or perfection, but simply to build confidence, understand movement, and feel comfortable in the gym environment.
What stood out the most was seeing everyone show up, give it a go, and support one another. It wasn’t about how things looked; it was about how it felt.
Meeting everyone in person really brought REN3W to life. What started as an idea is now becoming a real community, and that’s something I’m incredibly grateful for.
This is only the beginning… I can’t wait for the next event
